General Purpose Gear Bags

Warm soapy water is recommended. Scrubbing should be avoided as it may damage the fabric.  Immediately remove deposits of organic matter (soil, bird droppings, etc).  Keep truck wash and harsh cleaners, petrol, kerosene or similar solvents away from all fabrics.

The PVC vinyl fabric used in our gear bags is the same fabric used in truck tarps and the like and is waterproof.  The zipper has a cover flap to ensure it is protected.

PVC is more economical, more durable and is easily wiped clean.  Canvas is available on request.

The zippers in our gear bags are YKK brand, in our opinion the best.  Sunset Canvas over more than 35 years has tried other brands and they have failed to perform to our standards.  YKK zippers are used throughout our products, they are durable and withstand constant use.

All gear bags have seat belt webbing handles, tough enough to take the harshest punishment.  All of the handles on the gear bags (excluding small gear bags) are sewn down the side and underneath the bottom of the bag for added strength.
