Shade sails are a versatile shade solution, made to measure and designed by our expert staff to complement most sites. All  options including hi-par and one-post shade sails, one  sail to multi sail configurations and various shapes and sizes are available.

Sunset Canvas is the only firm to use safety links on our shade sails that fail under extreme weather conditions to safeguard buildings and columns from damage.  Back-up cables support the sail to avoid damage until urgent action is taken to release the shade sail prior to re-fitting.

Fabric Details for Shade Sails:

• High tensile strength, premium commercial-grade knitted shade fabric - Z16 is our recommended option.

• Waterproof shade fabric is also available - Dri Z is our recommended option.
• 10 year limited warranty.
• Wide range of colours.
• Up to 99% UVR protection and 97% shade.

Shade Sail Details:

• Fully tensioned during fitting.
• Reinforced corners and cable outlets.
• Stainless steel cable perimeter.
• Double row lock stitched with UV stabilised thread.

Shade Sail Columns/Footings/Components:

• Galvanised columns can be powder coated to any colour.
• All stainless steel fittings.
• Safety links and backup cables.
• Concrete footings to Engineer Specifications.

Optional Extras for Shade Sails:

• Powder coated or hot dipped galvanised columns.
• Council Permits if applicable.

Shade canopies are a low maintenance shade solution with numerous sizes, styles and shapes including hexagonal, square or rectangular with a pyramid or hip roof.  Shade canopies are  used over play equipment, pools, in parks and even as carports.

Shade Canopy Fabric Details:

• Stainless steel cable perimeter.
• Reinforced cable outlets and corners.

Shade Canopy Frame/Footing Details:

• Galvanised frame including columns and roof rafters that can be powder coated to any colour.
• Structures have reinforcing gusset plates welded to elbows of the rafters for extra strength.
• Columns are swaged into rafters for better aesthetics as well as eliminating water penetration of the frame.
• Concrete footings to Engineer's specifications.

Optional Extras for Shade Canopies:

• Anti-vandal disks can be fitted to shade structures.
• Powder coated or hot dipped galvanised framework;
• Council Permits if applicable..
